SUB-THEMES

The Conference Programme Sub-Committee welcomes submissions corresponding to one or more of the following sub-themes:

1. Emerging digital technologies and the impact on teaching, learning and assessment
  • How can educators adapt to the rapid changes in emerging digital technologies to stay effective?
  • What opportunities do digital technologies offer for personalized and differentiated instruction?
  • How do emerging technologies influence student engagement and motivation in learning environments?
  • What are the ethical considerations of using advanced digital tools in education?
  • How can assessments evolve to capture the skills and knowledge students gain through digital learning?
2. Integrating AI in Education
  • How can educators effectively implement AI?
  • How can AI support teachers in creating innovative and interactive lesson plans?
  • What role does AI play in addressing equity and inclusivity in education?
  • How can AI-powered tools enhance assessment practices?
  • What ethical considerations should guide the integration of AI in education?
3. Good and Emerging Practices: addressing exceptionalities 
  • What innovative strategies are proving effective in meeting the needs of students with exceptionalities?

  • What are the challenges educators face when implementing emerging practices for students with diverse needs?
  • How can collaboration between educators, families, and specialists improve outcomes for exceptional students?

4. (a) Transformative Pedagogies: Driving and Fostering a Growth Mindset for Student Success 
  • What teaching methods best cultivate a growth mindset in students across various subjects?
  • How can transformative pedagogies shift the focus from performance-based outcomes to learning-centered growth?
  • What tools or strategies encourage resilience and problem-solving skills in students?

4. (b)  Transforming Mathematics Education: Fostering Deeper Understanding for Lasting Improvement

  • How can accessibility be prioritized in curriculum design to reach all learners?
  • What techniques can help educators effectively differentiate instruction for diverse student populations?

6.   Strategic Leadership in the Digital Age        
  • How can school administrators and/or policymakers effectively lead digital transformation?
  • What strategies can school leaders adopt to build digital resilience within their institutions?
  • How should school leadership approach the development and implementation of technology integration policies?
  • How can school administrators and/or policymakers address the challenges of digital equity?
SUBMISSION FORMATS

For this year’s CXC® Regional Education Conference, two pathways for submissions will be available. All participants are required to submit an abstract and once accepted, they will be further required to submit a PowerPoint presentation by a specified date.

  1. Presentation Pathway: Selected participants are required to submit their completed PowerPoint presentation b 22 October, 2025.
  2. Publication Pathway: Participants who have submitted abstracts for the conference presentation will also have the opportunity to submit their work for consideration in the inaugural publication of the CXC® Journal. Acceptance of papers for publication will be contingent upon meeting the editorial standards and criteria established by the Journal Editorial Board.


    OPEN PAPER PRESENTATION

    Open paper presentations constitute a contribution to the development of knowledge in the area sub-theme selected. Authors are required to submit original work and must attend the conference to deliver a 20-minute presentation, followed by a 10-minute questions and discussion. Both empirical studies and theoretical conceptual papers are welcomed. The Conference Programme Sub-Committee invites proposals in English, which is the primary language of the conference. Submission should adhere to the following format:

    • Abstract: 300 words
    • Title
    • Keywords
    • Author(s) (Include Name, Organisation & email for each author)
    • Sub-theme

    Upon receiving the notification of acceptance, authors are required to submit the PowerPoint presentation, following these specifications:

    The name of the primary presenter (note that an individual can serve as the main presenter for only one open paper during the conference);

    A maximum of 10–12 PowerPoint slides or other media formats, tailored for a 20-minute presentation.

    Appropriate use of visuals, including graphics, charts, tables, and diagrams, to enhance clarity and engagement.

• Registration by presenters: 11 August, 2025
• Early bird registration: 19 August, 2025
